Mobile control app for an EV charging device manufacturer

A cross-platform app for a European EV company enabling users to control multiple chargers through direct Wi-Fi and cloud APIs with a consistent UX across iOS and Android.

01 The Challenge

Ensuring reliable real-time charger status monitoring and configuration even in low-signal underground parking garages, which required seamless failover between local device Wi-Fi networks and secure Cloud REST/WebSocket APIs.

02 Our Solution

Designed and built a Flutter application utilizing custom BLoC state management and local Wi-Fi pairing packages (connectivity_plus, wifi_iot). Built automatic failover logic so that the app seamlessly talks directly to the charger via local AP or routes commands via remote API depending on connection availability.
